By following the Airtel’s surprise move to hike prepaid tariff in certain circles. Vodafone is also joining the gang with Idea and Aircel. At present Vodafone is the 3rd largest mobile operator in India on the basis of subscribers, Idea being in 4th and Aircel is at 5th position.
Vodafone is going to increase the tariff upto 20% for the prepaid users in various circles. Airtel being India’s largest mobile operator has also adopted the same steps which will apprehend the customers to use the power vouchers always. The telecom experts welcome this type of move adds more profit to the balance sheet of the operators. It is also predict by the experts that the new operators will also follow it sooner or later.
