High-end Folding Cycles and Rickshaws Worth 2 Lakh

The journey of bicycles started from simple bicycles and then moved to folding bicycles, carbon bicycles and now to efficiency bicycles. In fact, the high-end bicycles are really unbelievable as they feature alloy wheels, disk brakes, three shockers and start from a price range of about Rs 10,000 onwards. All about 50 exhibitors came from across the country to an ongoing 3 days exhibition being held in the Government College for Women (GCW), Bharatnagar Chowk. In this event, many new high-end bicycles and Rickshaws like cycles with alloy wheels, disk brakes, three shockers and folding cycle grabbed the attention of many people and a High-end Rickshaw was really a treat to the eyes of many.

Well, the folding cycles are of great demand nowadays because of its facility to dismantle it into parts as well as to assemble it again into a bicycle with a minute or two. A variety of folding cycles are being launched in this event along with the amazing showcase of a battery operated electric wheel chair. Avon cycles launched a bunch of high end cycles which featured alloy wheels, 18 to 21 gears and disc brakes. Avon launched Rockstar, a bicycle costing Rs 3650 along with another folding cycle named as ‘carry on’ which is specifically designed for fitness enthusiasts of different age groups and costs around Rs 2871.

folding cycle partsThe urban trial segment of cycles were launched by Hero cycles featuring carbon frame cycle, the USP giving light weight of about 9 kgs and costing a price of Rs 42,000. A high-speed bicycle which featured disc brakes, a gear system and has the ability to achieve a speed of 30km/hour was by the Leader Cycles. Another company, the Hi-Bird Cycles, displayed a high-end bicycle whose complete chassis is made of an aluminum alloy and features gear boxes. Moreover, the most astonishing fact is that dealers and visitors from various countries such as Bangladesh and even Pakistan had been to this exhibition to collect information of the latest models.

RickshawThe Rickshaw – No more a poor man’s vehicle of transport. Hi-Bird, a company having basements in Ludhiana, launched a Super Luxury High-Tech Rickshaw which was demanded by five star hotels and resorts for the boosting of tourism. This Rickshaw features 21 gears, radio FM, places for keeping water bottles and purses and many more facilities. These Rickshaws were specifically designed for the German and European markets and were earlier exported and were sold at a price of EURO 2500 to 3000. These high-end Rickshaws are priced with a cost of Rs 1.5 to 2 lakhs and the Hi-Bird Cycles are expecting a sale of 500 units in the coming Financial year.
