Samsung, the well known manufacturer of electronic devices has come up with new solution for one of its chief devices. The company had unveiled its flagship device named as the Galaxy S3 few months back and was priced at Rs.42, 500 during the launch. Later, within a span of 1 week after its launch, the price of the device was dropped by the company to Rs.38, 900. Now, the company has reduced the price furthermore. The details are discussed below.
The device, the Galaxy S3 is built and enhanced with a good number of amazing features and is built with a stunning design. The features include 4.8 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, Android v4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, Exynos 4212 Quad Chipset, CPU Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 Processor, 8 MP rear primary camera, 1.9 MP front camera and many more.
Having these amazing features, the price of the device has been slashed to Rs 34,900 and is made available at this low cost. Since the device’s launch in the month of June, this is likely to be the major price reduction the device has undergone. Well, many of the online retailers such as Flipkart have started to roll out this device at this low price along with discount coupons and freebies. Once earlier, the price was even said to be reduced to Rs 36,900 and today finally got reduced to Rs.34, 900.
The company has slashed about Rs 7,600 of the earlier price of the device and this has been carried out within three months after its launch. And in fact, no one expects this kind of a price reduction from Samsung, at a least for its flagship device, Galaxy S3 as this device has been the fastest selling smartphone ever in the history of smartphones making sales of about 20 million units in 100 days.
