The matter looks as if Nokia is focusing on a lot of promotional splashes with its Nokia Lumia phones as just a few months back the company was engaged in promoting the Lumia 900 in The Dark Knight Rises movie, and now again it has stepped with another limited edition Lumia 610 Smartphone. This time Nokia has partnered with Quiksilver to bring up the Special edition of the Lumia 610 but the phone isn’t that different from the original Lumia 610. It is serving with 20 Quiksilver wallpapers, a different rear case and the logo of Quiksilver on the front of the phone.
The Special edition Nokia Lumia 610 Smartphone is enabled with a 3.7 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display that carries 56K display colors and resembles a display resolution of 480 x 800 pixels along with ~252 ppi pixel density. It has Multitouch features enabled and is implemented with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass. The device runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Operating System and is powered with 800 MHz CPU processor. The sensors which are provided are such as accelerometer and compass. The device operates in 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and 3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 Networks.
It brings a Loudspeaker and a 3.5mm jack. The device has not been provided with a Memory Card slot but carries internal storage of 8 GB along with 256 MB RAM. The device also has been facilitated with the connectivity offers as GPRS Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 – 48 kbps, EDGE Class 10, 236.8 kbps along with a Speed of HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps and the other connectors are such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, EDR, NFC support and a microUSB v2.0 Connector. In addition to the above discussed features, this handset comes equipped with a 5 Megapixel rear-facing primary camera that carries a camera resolution of 2592 х 1944 pixels along with the other camera features as autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, face detection and can record videos at 720p@30fps. Apart from these, there are also many of the other facility which are provided like Messaging SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Email, IM, HTML5 Browser, Stereo FM radio with RDS, GPS with A-GPS support and is provided with a MicroSIM card support.
This new Special Edition Smartphone comes empowered with a Standard Li-Ion 1300 mAh (BP-3L) battery that ensures a Stand-by time of up to 670 h (2G) & up to 720 h (3G) and a Talk time of up to 10 h 30 min (2G) & up to 9 h 30 min (3G) along with a Music play of up to 35 h.
