Nokia is here with another new handset from its Asha series named as Nokia Asha 311. This Smartphone is in fact a newly formed device in which the company has tried to bring together the richness of both the feature phone as well as Smartphone. This handset stuffs a 3.0” capacitive touch screen having WQVGA resolution and features pentaband WCDMA, microUSB port, a 3,5mm audio jack and lots more others. You’ll also find the software part filled with the offer of 40 free EA games, preloaded Angry Birds, etc. Additionally, this handset carries with the cloud accelerated Nokia Browser. After the shipping of Nokia Asha 305 in Q2, the Asha 311 will follow up in Q3. The later details are discussed below.
The Nokia Asha 311 Smartphone operates in 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 & 3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100. The device is powered by 1 GHz Processor and is equipped with an accelerometer sensor and proximity. The display which has been enabled in this device is a 3.0 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display that resembles 56K colors and the display resolution is of 240 x 400 pixels along with ~155 ppi pixel density. The display of it also carries Multitouch features along with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass.
Additionally, this Smartphone is provided with a Loudspeaker, a 3.5mm jack and a Memory Card slot of microSD with the help of which the storage capacity can be expanded up to 32 GB. The device is facilitated for an internal storage of 140 MB, 256 MB ROM, 128 MB RAM. In addition to the above discussed features this handset is equipped wit5h a 3.15 Mega pixel rear-facing primary camera which carries a camera resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. Certain other camera features are such as Video recording at VGA@25fps, and the rest of the other usual camera features.

The Nokia Asha 311 is empowered with a Standard Li-Ion 1110 mAh battery of BL-4U which serves with a battery backup of Stand-by up to 696 h (2G) / up to 768 h (3G), Talk time up to 14 h (2G) / up to 6 h (3G) and a Music play up to 40 h.
