US Cellular reveals Motorola Defy XT Smartphone
Motorola Defy XT Smartphone is now in the lap of US Cellular which will be available on August 3, 2012. The device carries the configurations set as 3.7 inches capacitive touchscreen, 5 MP rear-facing camera, GPS with A-GPS support, etc. This Smartphone is especially designed having a durable design and is waterproof and dust-proof too being a tough one. It has a platform of single-core 1GHz processor, featured with 512MB of RAM, runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system as
well as packs many of the other features too. You can have its later details discussed below.
The Motorola DEFY XT is built with a 3.7 inches capacitive touchscreen display having ~265 ppi pixel density along with 16M display colors and a display resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The device also carries the other display features such as Multitouch facility, enabled with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass, Touch sensitive controls and MotoSwitch UI. It runs on Android v2.3 Gingerbread Operating System and is equipped with the various sensors like accelerometer, proximity and a compass.
Additionally, the device has been equipped with a Loudspeaker along with 3.5mm jack. The camera which is spotted in this handset is a 5 MP rear-facing primary camera that carries 2592 х 1944 pixels of camera resolution and certain other camera features are such as autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, image stabilization, Videos at WVGA@30fps and is spotted with a VGA Secondary camera. The other usual features as SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, IM, Push Email, HTML Browser, Adobe Flash, GPS with A-GPS support, Java via Java MIDP emulator as well as carry the other usual features in a Smartphone like SNS integration, Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, etc.
The device is provided with a Memory Card slot compatible with microSD card up to 32 GB. The Motorola Defy XT is empowered with a standard Li-Ion 1650 mAh battery that ensures a Stand-by time of up to 290 h and a Talk time of up to 9h.
