This hybrid bike is a recipe of the existing 796 and the 696 and is featured with the short tubular steel trellis frame as of the 696 and the 796, which features 803cc and L-twin motor. The test rides were performed in very low speeds maintaining the speed limits which should be maintained within the town and thus made the riders impatient. However, you can remark that the bike is built with some features which match with its predecessor and other iconic models.

It avails Double sides’ swingarm and Front suspension which features Marzocchi 43mm upside-down forks. Its front wheel is a 3-spoke light alloy 3.50 x 17 which features a 20/60 ZR 17 Pirelli Angel ST tyre. It is provided with a rear suspension which features Progressive linkage with preload and rebound Sachs adjustable monoshock. The rear wheel is a 3-spoke light alloy 4.50 x 17 which features a 160/60 ZR 17 Pirelli Angel ST tyre. The front brake is enhanced with two 320mm discs along with a 4-piston radial caliper and the rear brake is enhanced with a 245mm disc along with a 2-piston caliper.

Its engine is performance oriented and is an L-Twin cylinder, 2 valve per cylinder Desmodromic and air cooled engine which features a displacement of 803cc. It signifies a bore-stoke of 88 x 66mm (BorexStroke) and a compression ratio of 11:01. This vehicle is much powerful and you can make this out its power which is equal to 64kW – 87 CV @ 8250 rpm and its torque which is equal to 78 Nm – 8 kgm @ 6250 rpm.
