In most cases computers take in between 20 secs – 60 seconds to shutdown. In case you are in a hurry and need to shutdown your system faster, you may use the following trick to turn off your system in just 5 secs. This trick works like a charm and works in XP only.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to launch the Windows Task Manager > Click on “Shutdown” menu > hold “Ctrl” key and click on “Turnoff” > you are done.
Now your system will go for a faster shutdown and it should not take more than 5 secs.
Do not turn off your computer regularly in this way, else it will affect the stability and performance level of your system.
