iPhone 5 to Feature Quad-Core Processor

Various rumors are floating around the internet regarding the next generation iPhone. A new rumor claims that the next generation iPhone will come with quad-core processor. According to DigiTimes, Apple will use Samsung’s Exynos 4 quad-core processor in the next generation iPhone. DigiTimes has received this information from their source who claims that there will be a huge competition between quad-core smartphones in the Q4 of this year as Samsung, HTC, and LG had already launched quad-core smartphones in the second quarter of 2012.

Lots of people were expected that the 3rd generation iPad will come with quad-core processor, but Apple had launched the new iPad with A5X processor. Now DigiTimes is claiming that Apple will use quad-core processor in iPhone 5. We have to consider it as rumor until the announcement of iPhone 5. Apple has not provided any information regarding the next generation iPhone. According to various sources, the next generation iPhone will come with 4 inch screen, A5X Processor, 1GB RAM, retina display, Siri, aluminum back, thinner design, metallic casing, Qualcomm LTE 4G Chip and new antenna.

Recently Chinese blog MyDrivers has claimed that the next generation iPhone will feature larger display than the current generation iPhone. They have received next generation iPhone front panel from supply chain source who claims that Apple will use in-cell touch panels in the next generation iPhone to make it thinner than the current generation iPhone. Recently Shaw Wu of Sterne Agee has claimed that iPhone 5 will be a true world phone as it will come with support for China Mobile’s 3G network and it will also support 4G LTE networks.

Recently 9to5Mac has claimed that the next generation iPhone will include NFC chips after analyzing the next generation iPhone prototype hardware code dumps. If the next generation iPhone comes with NFC Chip, then it can be used to make payments. Apple is expected to launch iPhone 5 in October.
