iPad 5 to be Slimmer and Lighter than iPad 4
We have been hearing various rumors regarding the next generation iPad. Now we came to know that the next generation iPad will be slimmer than the current generation iPad. According to AppleInsider, iPad 5 will be slimmer and lighter than iPad 4. They have received this information from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who has provided some interesting information about iPad 5. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, iPad 5 will come with narrow bezel just like iPad mini. He has predicted that Apple will launch iPad 5 in the 3rd quarter of this year.
The new report from Ming-Chi Kuo contradicts with the previous report of Japanese blog Macotakara, which had predicted that Apple will launch iPad 5 in March. The sources of Macotakara had claimed that iPad 5 will be 2 mm thinner and 4 mm shorter than iPad 4. They had also claimed that iPad 5 will be 17 mm narrower than the current generation iPad. As we know the height of iPad 4 is 241.2 mm and the width of iPad 4 is 185.7 mm. If the report comes true, then iPad 5 will include a height of 237.2 mm and a width of 183.7 mm. Now you must be thinking about the launch date of iPad 5. Ming-Chi Kuo has not provided any information regarding the launch date of iPad 5. If the prediction comes true, then you will be able to purchase the slimmer and lighter iPad 5 in the 3rd quarter of this year. Still Apple has not provided any information regarding iPad 5.
