Apple has announced the release of iOS 6 Beta 4 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It comes as build 10A5376e. This new beta version of iOS 6 brings improvements and fixed some bugs. Now you can find Facebook, Twitter, Bluetooth sharing section in the Privacy Settings. Apple has updated the Passbook app in iOS 6 Beta 4. Now you can find a button in the Passbook app that will allow you to go to the App Store. In the Settings app, you can find Shared Calendar Alerts under Calendar, Mail, Contacts. iOS 6 beta 4 comes with Wi-Fi Plus Cellular option, which will allow apps to use 3G while they face any problem with WiFi. You can find Wi-Fi Plus Cellular settings under Cellular. The help section of Siri also updated in the new beta version of iOS 6.
iOS 6 Beta 4 is compatible with iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 4G, iPad 2, and new iPad. It is available only for developers. You can download it via over-the-air update. If you are a developer, then you can download iOS 6 Beta 4 from iOS Dev Center. If you are not a registered Apple developer, then you can register in Apple developer account from Apple’s developer website. For this, you have to pay $99 per year. You will get more benefits as a registered Apple developer. You will be able to access all beta versions of iOS, developer-oriented documentation and tools as a developer.
Apple had released iOS 6 Beta 3 on July 16th, iOS 6 Beta 2 was released on June 25th and iOS 6 Beta 1 was released just after the announcement of iOS 6 at WWDC. The final version of iOS 6 will be released this fall. Apple had unveiled iOS 6 at WWDC 2012. It includes lots of interesting features such as Facebook integration, new passbook app, redesigned App Store, new maps app, new Siri features, Shared Photo Streams, and Mail.
