Now you can use a jailbreak tweak to display the new messages on the Lock Screen of your iPhone. The name of this tweak is SMSLock. This tweak is developed by Ollie Kett. After you have installed this tweak on your iOS device, you will never miss any important messages. You will be able to see the new and unread messages on the lock screen of your iPhone.

You can download this tweak from Cydia under ZodTTD repository. It requires iOS 5 or higher, so you have to upgrade your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad to iOS 5 to download this tweak. If you want to read new messages from the lock screen of your iPhone, then install this tweak. SMSLock requires jailbroken iOS device, so you have to jailbreak your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad to install this tweak. After jailbreaking your iOS device, launch Cydia and search for “SMSLock”, then select it from the search result and tap on “Download” button to download and install this tweak on your iPhone. After installing this tweak on your iOS device, you can see the new and unread messages on the lock screen of your iPhone.

SMSLock is compatible with iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G, iPad 2, iPad and new iPad. No new icons will be added by this tweak to the Home screen, so you cannot configure it from the Home screen of your iPhone. You have to go to the setting app of your iOS device to configure this tweak. The most important thing is that you don’t need to pay any money to use this tweak. It is available for free of cost.
