If you are a developer, then you can now play with a new beta version of the upcoming firmware. The Cupertino company has seeded OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 build 13C32 to developers. This is the 1st beta version of OS X Mavericks 10.9.2. The good news is that it will let you enjoy a new feature on your Mac. It brings FaceTime Audio for the 1st time. In this version of OS X Mavericks, the focus areas are Graphics Drivers, VoiceOver, Messages, VPN and Mail. Apple asks developers to focus their testing on these areas. It comes as build 13C32. There are no known issues associated with the 1st beta version of OS X Mavericks 10.9.2.
This is a pretty good news for the developers. If you want to play with the 1st beta version of OS X Mavericks 10.9.2, then you must install the OS X Software Update Seed Configuration Utility on your device. After installing this tool, you have to choose “Software Update” from the menu in order to install OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Build 13C32 on your device. The 1st beta version of OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 is available only for developers. If you are not a registered Apple developer, then you can register in Apple developer account from developer website. For this, you have to pay $99 per year. You will get more benefits as a registered Apple developer.
You should note that users will not be able to revert back their device to the previous state after upgrading it to OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Build 13C32. You can download it from the Dev Center. You may have to delete all data from your device after installing this update. Don’t forget to install a new version of Safari on your device before upgrading it to the 1st beta version of OS X Mavericks 10.9.2. It is not recommended for all Mac users.
