Various rumors are floating around the internet regarding the next generation iPhone. Recently DigiTimes has claimed that Pegatron Technology has received order from Apple to manufacture the next generation iPhone. They have received this information from the supply chain maker who claims that Apple will launch the new iPhone in September. Various rumors are claiming that the next generation iPhone will come with A5X Processor, 1GB RAM, larger screen, Qualcomm LTE 4G Chip, retina display, metallic casing, Siri, aluminum back, new antenna, and thinner design. Now we came to know that the design of the next generation iPhone has not been finalized yet. According to iMore, still Apple has not completed the design of the next generation iPhone.

iMore claims that Apple will use smaller dock connector in the next generation iPhone. This report from iMore coincides with the previous report from iLounge who claims that the next generation iPhone will come with smaller dock connector. Previously, iLounge has reported that the iPhone 5 will come with 4-inch display and it will be thinner than iPhone 4S and iPhone 4. They have received this information from their source who claims that Gorilla Glass 2 will be used in the next generation iPhone which will make iPhone 5 thinner than the current generation iPhone and Apple will use metal panel in the central back of the next generation iPhone. Apple has not provided any information regarding the name of the next generation iPhone. It may be called as iPhone 5, or new iPhone just like the new iPad.

Recently iMore has predicted that Apple will launch 7-inch iPad in October alongside the next generation iPhone. Now iMore is claiming that the design of the next generation iPhone has not been finalized yet. The screen size of the next generation iPhone will remain same as the screen size of the current generation iPhone. It will come with a Home button. As we know iMore has a good track record of predicting Apple related news, so this report from iMore is believable.
