Now we came to know that Apple has sold over three million copies of OS X Mountain Lion within four days. Apple has announced that over three million copies of OS X Mountain has been downloaded within four days of its release. It is the most successful OS X release in the history of Apple. OS X Mountain Lion has generated $38 million in revenue for Apple within 48 hours.
You should note that Apple took 72 days to sell 6 million copies of OS X Lion, but they took only four days to sell over three million copies of OS X Mountain Lion, which is a new record for the company. Apple had unveiled various features of OS X Mountain Lion at WWDC. It comes with Facebook integration, Notification Center, iCloud, new Messages app, AirPlay mirroring, new Safari, Dictation, System wide sharing, Power Nap, Gatekeeper and Game Center. Gatekeeper feature allows users to download apps safely from the internet on your Mac. You can use System wide sharing feature to share anything from your Mac with the click of a single button. OS X Mountain Lion comes with Facebook integration which allows you to post comment and set your Facebook status message from the Notification Center of your Mac. Dictation feature allows you to type text on your Mac using your voice.
