HTC Confirms Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for HTC One X, One S, and One XL

The mobile manufacturers have started to roll out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the source code is available. The very first company to confirm Jelly Bean is HTC as its devices – HTC One X, One S, and One XL will be updated to Jelly Bean. HTC has not made known the timing, further plan and whether other phones will get the update. Well, there is news about the Jelly Bean update for Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi tablets too. Samsung also reported that its Galaxy S III smartphone is likely to get the update sometime in August or September. Samsung’s Galaxy S II device has cleared the Jelly Bean test but there is no confirmation yet.

As a matter of fact, the Google Nexus 7 tablet is unveiled with the Jelly Bean OS while the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first phone to get the Jelly Bean update and the next would be Nexus S and Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi tablet as Google’s lead devices. Update for the Sprint Nexus S and the Verizon Motorola Xoom are not confirmed. Google desires to develop a “platform development kit” and this grant month ago preview versions of its upcoming platforms not unveiled to open source.
